In a split second [a poem]

A twinkle of an eye, exactly what it takes to grow up, to learn the need to work hard, to pursue the vision I look forward to, to draft a personal plan, a mission to get me there.

A twinkle of an eye, exactly what it takes, for me to decide to borrow some attitudes, to unlearn the negatives I have unknowingly imbibed.

A twinkle of an eye, exactly what it takes for me to decide to live by my mapped out mission, to keep going even in the midst of travails.

A twinkle of an eye, same twinkle of an eye is exactly what is needed, exactly what it takes, to put an end to all the plan, all the hardwork.

A twinkle of an eye, exactly what it takes for transition from being alive to being dead. A ponder for today. Do I suddenly desire to better my life or am I okay with how I am if death greets me now?
