What if [a poem]
What if I don’t care, about who you are, what you are, what power you exude, what you represent?
What if I don’t care, about what you have to say, your opinions, your thought pattern, your way of doing things?
What if I don’t care, about what you look like, what power you possess, how adorned you are how aesthetically thrilling you appear?
What if I don’t care, about the influence under your possession, the subsidiaries under your empire, the destinies under your shoulders?
What if I don’t care, about what you can do to me, what you can do to my family, what you can do to my loved ones, what you can do to the entire world?
What if I only care, about the number of smiling faces there are, whenever the thought of you is allude, whenever your beauty is spoken of, whenever your wonder is mentioned.
What if I only desire, for you to work on putting this beautiful smile on the faces of a larger populace around the world as days go by? Cos that’s what I care about, that’s what I desire, that’s what I want!
